Microneedling can be a safe, quick and effective treatment for hair loss.
It is a non-invasive, but extremely effective, rejuvenation treatment which harnesses your skin’s natural ability to repair itself.
While Microneedling has been used in medicine and facial aesthetics for a number of years, evidence is now growing of its effectiveness for treating hair loss. It has been shown that where hair follicles are still viable it can significantly improve hair regrowth, especially when used alongside the application of suitable topical actives due to its effect of increasing transdermal permeability.
It is important to note that this treatment is not guaranteed to be effective for everyone, and in particular it will not be useful where there has been a prolonged period of no hair growth as it is likely that at this point the follicle is no longer viable.
